About The Position

TruTeam is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join their team. This role involves performing various material handling duties within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory, receiving and shipping goods, and ensuring all activities comply with company policies. Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license (if operating a vehicle for company purposes).
  • Forklift certification.
  • Strong Math Skills.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours to perform job-related tasks.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Good hand dexterity.
  • Physical strength.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Experience in material handling, inventory, receiving, and shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Perform load in/load out activities for installer’s trucks, ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Pull and assemble customer orders.
  • Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, and maintain displays.
  • Move, store, and replenish material.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts.
  • Receive and unload inbound material.
  • Process inbound shipments and stock material.
  • Process customer returns.
  • Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and organization (sweeping, trash removal, etc.).
  • Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.
  • Cycle count inventory, store in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report to supervision.
  • Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
  • Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
  • Perform any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities.
