The Warehouse Specialist, under the direction of the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and Warehouse Lead, is responsible for ensuring the stable and accurate flow of materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Requirements
- You are energetic and self-motivated, reliable and can work safely and effectively in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- 0-1 years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of basic math
Nice To Haves
- Forklift Experience/Certification
- Knowledge of warehouse management software
Responsibilities
- Communicate well with all leads and supervisors when coordinating the move of materials
- Accept deliveries of goods, verify against purchase requisitions/packing slips and store them accordingly
- Quality monitoring and sampling of raw material and product
- Maintain warehouse and cooler/freezer areas and ensure orderly storage of materials and inventory
- Use warehouse management software to monitor inventory and balance accounts
- Move materials within production departments using standup reach truck, walkie truck, and forklift
