About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of inbound and outbound materials, inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall warehouse organization. Operating out of our Hebron, IL location, this role requires strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset. This is a standard 40-hour work week. During peak periods or high-volume days, schedules may extend up to 50 hours per week. All overtime hours are compensated in accordance with applicable law.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of manufacturing/logistics experience (food production preferred).
  • Strong computer skills required (data entry, production reporting, MS Office, ERP/WMS applications).
  • Strong math skills, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems or digital log keeping tools.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • CDL Preferred — Sponsorship Available
  • A valid CDL-A or CDL-B is a plus, as the role may occasionally involve local driving, delivery support, or equipment transport. Candidates without a CDL but interested in obtaining one are encouraged to apply — CDL sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/WMS systems by capturing production work order data.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support monthly/quarterly inventory audits.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team and cross-functional partners.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for distribution.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Organize warehouse space to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Operate warehouse machinery and vehicles in accordance with safety standards.
  • Assist with local deliveries or equipment transport as needed.
  • Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety best practices at all times.
  • Carry out any additional duties that may be assigned or requested.
