About The Position

Bosch Rexroth is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Shipping Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial for managing the flow of goods and ensuring operational excellence. The specialist will act as a central point of contact for various departments including Logistics, Assembly, Hydraulic Motor Repair, Quality Management, and Inside Sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a passion for continuous improvement, exceptional attendance, and the ability to handle low-volume, large-scale industrial shipping. The position involves coordinating logistics, preparing and packing orders with precision, managing inventory accurately, handling carrier and freight management, and adhering to daily priorities and standards set by the Warehouse Manager. This is a mission-critical role focused on absolute precision and safety in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • High school graduate, some college, or accredited equivalent (e.g., State Dept. of Education, US Military).
  • 5+ years of progressive warehouse, dock, or industrial shipping experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP inventory management systems (preferred).
  • Basic woodworking/carpentry skills for custom crating.
  • Familiarity with plastic and steel banding equipment.
  • Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experience handling large parts, operating heavy forklifts (15K# lift), or operating overhead cranes (up to 30K#) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. when needed.
  • Proven history of exceptional attendance.
  • Self-starting, motivated work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP inventory management systems.
  • Experience handling large parts, operating heavy forklifts (15K# lift), or operating overhead cranes (up to 30K#).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the critical hub connecting Logistics, Power Unit Assembly, Hydraulic Motor Repair, Quality, and Sales teams to keep shipments moving.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and process orders.
  • Build and customize wooden crates, apply VCI shrink-wrapping, and properly stencil/label crates for LTL & Flatbed transport.
  • Maintain 100% accurate inventory tracking by logging all movements and updating stock locations in SAP.
  • Lead the Cycle Count Program.
  • Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Generate carrier labels (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
  • Schedule LTL pickups.
  • Proactively file and follow up on freight claims.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to meet daily targets.
  • Execute special customer instructions.
  • Ensure a clean, secure, and organized workspace at the end of each day.
