About The Position

Technica is seeking Warehouse Specialists to support operations at DLA Red River Army Depot. This role involves performing a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Responsibilities include verifying materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages, routing materials to storage locations, and storing materials according to prescribed methods. The specialist will also be responsible for rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials for deterioration and damage, and removing material from storage for shipment. The position may involve operating hand or power trucks.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold
• Have the ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types to Include stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• At least one-year experience with Supply Management operation systems
• Prior knowledge and experience with Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures

Responsibilities

• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
• May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties
