About The Position
Vali Inc has an opportunity for Warehouse Specialist working on the APS-3 project located in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The successful candidate performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or placing materials on pallets, in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage, and preparing it for shipment. This position may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' related work experience
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License
- U.S. Citizen
- Currently have or able to obtain a security clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Responsibilities
- Verifying materials against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
- Storing, stacking, or placing materials on pallets, in accordance with prescribed storage methods
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
- Removing material from storage, and preparing it for shipment
- Operating hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties
- Staging and placing materials on a pallet for loading into containers
- Identifying items required per load, inventory, and accounting for required quantities and taking appropriate action to prepare items for loading
- Complying with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position
