About The Position

Under general guidance of supervision, perform a variety of inventory, shipping and receiving duties. Requires significant personal computer use. Follow regular daily routines, established practices, or verbal instructions. Follow all safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Packaging product and other miscellaneous material for shipment.
  • Apply shipping documentation, labels and stencil containers as required.
  • Unload and receive incoming material, retrieve packing lists and bills of lading, document any damaged or discrepant material prior to signing off on deliveries.
  • Print receiving documents, tag and process material appropriately.
  • Analyze, interpret and transact all documents for incoming or outgoing stockroom materials.
  • Build and maintain accurate files for incoming and outgoing materials and components.
  • Create and update reports.
  • Resolve any discrepancies between the computer database and conflicting documentation.
  • Pick materials for production jobs and store as required.
  • Receive material from inspection acceptance point and store in assigned locations.
  • Move materials to support build process.
  • Perform stock checks and location audits.
  • Perform inventory and cycle counting functions.
  • Utilize and operate cranes, forklift and other material handling devices.
