About The Position

Requirements

Secret level Clearance required.
High School Diploma/GED
Two (2) year of warehouse experience, to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
Operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment.
Utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material.
Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate reports.
Automating logistic reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring.

Nice To Haves

Licensed forklift operator.
Forklift operators must complete a Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) Lift-Truck Operator Training Course.

Responsibilities

Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
Operating hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Communicating task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
Attending work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
Working on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.
