About The Position

Requirements

  • Secret level Clearance required.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Two (2) year of warehouse experience, to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
  • Operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment.
  • Utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material.
  • Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate reports.
  • Automating logistic reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed forklift operator.
  • Forklift operators must complete a Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) Lift-Truck Operator Training Course.

Responsibilities

  • Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
  • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
  • Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
  • Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
  • Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
  • Operating hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
  • Communicating task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Attending work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Working on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.
