About The Position
A Warehouse Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products under direct supervision of team leads and supervisors. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. or any other warehouse-related assignments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/certificate of completion or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to use effective interpersonal and teamwork skills when working with a variety of people and situations.
- Ability to prioritize assignments independently and participate in everyday problem solving.
- Quality orientation and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred.
- Previous experience in supply chain operations preferred.
- Health care experience preferred.
- Material handling equipment experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
