About The Position

Task and responsibilities: Receive inbound shipments and verify accuracy of deliveries Processing incoming orders from Depots including pulling, packing, and shipping orders File and manage documentation related to inventory receipts and orders Receiving and transfer of inventory in ERP system Management of inventory counts including weekly cycle counts and quarterly, semi-annual and yearly physical counts Communicate with field operations regarding the status of shipments Communicate with Parts Supervisor to maintain proper stock levels of parts and supplies QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum one year distribution and shipping experience Forklift operator certification is a plus Ability to regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload Effective written and oral communication skills High attention to detail Proficient in relevant software and computer skills Strong critical thinking skills to help create and drive new efficiencies in the shipping process Experience and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year distribution and shipping experience Forklift operator experience (Required) Ability to regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds Microsoft software experience including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Skills and Attributes: Excellent written and oral communication skills Safety oriented enforcing policies and procedures in work area Ability to work within a team structure Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload High attention to detail Strong critical thinking skills to help create and drive new efficiencies in the shipping process Willingness/enthusiasm for accepting responsibility and accountability; an "ownership" mentality Strong work ethic Independent worker Achievement driven while delivering quality results
