About The Position

Easy Ice continues to grow and seeks a bright, highly motivated Warehouse Specialist in our Orlando branch. The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties including packing/shipping, receiving/processing incoming stock and materials, unloading and loading trucks, organizing, land retrieving stock and making sure the work environment is clean. The Associate is also responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock and for ensuring the warehouse is running smoothly and all inventory is where it needs to be.

Requirements

  • Six months previous warehouse experience, preferred
  • Forklift certification, preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States, required
  • Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and multi-line phone systems
  • A self-motivated and disciplined individual who will work well independently and as a team member
  • Desire to learn more about warehouse operations and basic operating and maintenance of ice machines
  • Clear and professional communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Willing to assume a variety of tasks
  • The employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use ladders; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel surfaces, parts and materials; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Stands for extended periods of time
  • Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move objects of a greater weight
  • Ability to work in conditions that may include extreme temperatures
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required

Nice To Haves

  • Six months previous warehouse experience
  • Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
  • Receive and unload equipment and parts, unpack and shelve
  • Pack, wrap, label, and/or ship parts and equipment
  • Pick up parts/equipment from local suppliers
  • Must be able to safely operate forklifts, delivery trucks and lifting equipment
  • Assist as needed with refurbishing of the ice machines
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned
