About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to provide temporary coverage with a strong focus on receiving and inventory control. This role will receive incoming materials, complete receiving transactions in SAP, perform inventory counts, and put materials away in the warehouse. The warehouse supports the manufacturing of pathology equipment, so the materials will primarily include small parts, boards, and other components. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers and warehouse systems, has strong attention to detail, and is willing to learn the company’s processes. ERP/SAP experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of warehouse, receiving, inventory, and/or material-handling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when receiving and counting materials.
  • Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems; must be able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel/spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and complete receiving and inventory transactions.
  • Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to learn and receive forklift training.
  • Comfortable working closely with a small warehouse team.
  • Able to pass drug test /background and clean DMV for driving forklift.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, ERP, or another warehouse/inventory management system.
  • Previous receiving and inventory control experience.
  • Forklift experience; Flexi forklift experience is a plus.
  • Experience with crating, packaging, kitting, or general warehouse support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily receiving activities, including receiving incoming materials and completing related system transactions.
  • Accurately enter and update receiving and inventory information in SAP.
  • Inspect, count, and verify incoming materials for accuracy.
  • Put away small parts, boards, and manufacturing components in the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and counts.
  • Use basic Excel and spreadsheet tools to track and update warehouse information.
  • Provide general warehouse support and assist with crating, packaging, and material handling when receiving activity slows down.
  • Support other warehouse team members as needed.
  • Safely operate a Flexi forklift to assist with unloading deliveries after completing onsite training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
