About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Warehouse Sorter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently sorting and organizing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and assisting in the smooth operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Good English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse, sorting, or inventory-related role is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Sort and organize products and inventory in the warehouse according to designated categories and locations.
Inspect items for quality and ensure proper labeling, packing, and storage.
Assist with unloading deliveries and placing items in the correct storage areas.
Operate manual or automated sorting equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, barcode scanners) safely and effectively.
Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
Assist in order fulfillment by picking and packing products as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
Report damaged or missing items to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and management to improve operational efficiency.
Take reasonable care for the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions while at work.
Cooperate with their manager / supervisor to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, wellbeing, safety, security or welfare reasons.
Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment, or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health, wellbeing, safety, and security.
Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in company and carrier Safety and Security procedures.
Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific health, wellbeing, safety, and security rules or procedures.
Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
