About The Position

The Warehouse Sorter is responsible for sorting tasks required in the Warehouse and Routing Departments. This role involves sorting and preparing packages for delivery, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring the timely and efficient flow of packages and documents. The position requires maintaining inventory records and a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of warehouse/logistics experience
At least 2 years of sorting experience
6 months of forklift/PIT experience
Proficient with commonly used office software, including but not limited to: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as telephone and internet communications.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Resourceful and creative.
Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Must exhibit professionalism and be effective working with customers, vendors, and employees.
Skillfully convey information on a wide range of topics to a diverse target audience.
Influencing and consultative skills are critical
Ability to handle confidential information.
Effective prioritization and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline driven environment.
Strong initiative to strive for continuous accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information.

Previous experience working in the logistics and distribution industry is desired.
