Requirements
- 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations
- Lift and carry up to 75lbs
- Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
- Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
- 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery

Responsibilities
- Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility.
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area.
- Conduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.
- Lift and carry up to 65lbs
- Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
- Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
- Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Supply and retrieve pallets or materials from various departments within the plant.
- Make decisions to optimize material movement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the plant operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating and replacing liquefied-gas tanks on the forklift.
