About The Position

Culligan Water of Hagerstown is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Shop Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, entry-level position and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying busy, and learning new skills. In this role, you will help keep the warehouse and shop organized, stocked, clean, and ready to support the service and installation teams. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the water treatment industry and develop valuable warehouse, equipment, and mechanical skills.

Requirements

Dependable and have a strong work ethic.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Comfortable performing physical work.
Able to repeatedly lift up to 80 pounds.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willing to learn and follow proper safety procedures.
Ability to work Monday–Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or shop experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Forklift experience preferred, but training may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, organize, and put away inventory, equipment, and supplies.
Track and maintain inventory.
Pull and stage parts, equipment, and materials for service and installation jobs.
Load and unload deliveries.
Operate a forklift to unload deliveries and move materials throughout the warehouse.
Assist technicians and installers with loading and unloading equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shop.
Perform general shop cleanup and maintenance.
Prepare equipment and materials for customer installations.
Move and handle water treatment equipment, salt, tanks, parts, and other materials.
Work with water treatment chemicals as needed, following all company safety procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and notify management when supplies are needed.
Help with general warehouse and shop projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
