About The Position

Echelon Supply & Service specializes in the fabrication of custom hose assemblies and kits, as well as bulk distribution of hose, fittings, equipment, and accessories. Established in 1976, the company is committed to providing insightful customer service with experienced and knowledgeable staff. They are hiring a talented Warehouse / Shipping Technician to join their team in the Laval, QC office. This position will primarily be for the shipping department in their warehouse, offering an opportunity to grow a career within a winning team.

Requirements

• Prior shipping experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment required
• Familiarity with shipping carriers (Purolator, FedEx, etc.) and logistics processes required
• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP/WMS systems required
• Valid forklift license/certification required
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Contribute to an upbeat atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and aiding all team members
• Excellent communication skills in English and French
• Awareness of Health & Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
• Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with customer requirements
• Verify accuracy of shipping documents, invoices, and packing slips
• Schedule and coordinate pickups with carriers and couriers
• Use ERP software to process shipping transactions and invoicing
• Inspect and verify products prior to shipping to ensure quality standards are met
• Communicate with customer service, sales, and warehouse teams to resolve order discrepancies
• Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping supplies
• Safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and move products
