About The Position

Are details important to you? At NFM our Shipping Specialist is focused on accurately processing returns shipping and shipping out orders to our customers via UPS and Common Carrier. This position works in our warehouse while managing many relationships via phone and email communications. Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that’s what we love.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• 1 year shipping, receiving, distribution or NFM warehouse experience required
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• UPS, FedEx and Teklogic experience preferred
• knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) preferred
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Handling products so you are safe and the product is damage free
• Utilize NFM’s computer systems to run reports, bay assign transfers, generate documents, track returns, bills of lading, order distribution reports and more
• Work with sales staff, customers and/or trucking companies to provide accurate information pertaining to their products
• Examine product for defects, verify counts, weights and measure on items
• Maintain accurate inventory and complete claims information
• Wrap merchandise properly for safe and secure deliveries
