About The Position

The Warehouse/ Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for assembling desiccant rotors as part of a team, ensuring all work meets quality control specifications. Responsible for receiving and shipping goods, including between local buildings.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years required, 3 years preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal communications.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and quality.
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools without incident or damage to product.
  • Basic understanding of measurements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to work flow/speed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble Desiccant Media (35%) Lift, bend, and apply adhesive to assemble desiccant media into spoke and band structures.
  • Prepare Rotor for Coating Application (45%) Sand, blow out, and clean rotor. Tape off applicable parts and ensure 1/32” tolerance is maintained using level and other tools.
  • Apply Coating to Rotor Faces (10%) Mix coatings properly and use spray paint equipment. Maintain and clean tools.
  • Finalize Rotors After Curing (10%) Remove taped areas, perform light sanding and blow out. Apply accessory parts as needed, conduct final QC measurements, and label rotor.
  • Approve or reject parts to be assembled.
  • Approve or reject use of tools based on their condition.
  • Approve goods/quality to pass to the next department for further processing.
  • Reject or stop any activities that could negatively impact the environment or are considered unsafe.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading of daily trucks (75%)
  • Transferring materials between inventory and production areas (10%)
  • Daily inspection and report for forklifts in use (5%)
  • Pull goods for jobs in progress per schedule (5%)
  • Communicate regarding any missing parts, damages during receipt or shipping, end-of-month scrap report (5%)
  • Acceptance and rejection of shipments.
  • Define space to store goods.
  • Approve goods/quality to pass to next department for further processing.
  • Reject or stop any activities that could negatively impact the environment or are considered unsafe.
  • Acceptance and rejection of shipments of chemicals.
