About The Position

This role is responsible for various material handling tasks within the warehouse, including staging, receiving, inventory management, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The position involves physical movement of materials, accurate record-keeping in ERP systems, and collaboration with other departments like QA and Production. Requirements

  • Experience with materials staging and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in maintaining Excel trackers.
  • Ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory validation.
  • Forklift operation experience (daily safety checklist required).
  • Understanding of safety procedures and reporting.
  • Knowledge of company policies, including ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JDE system.
  • Familiarity with Manager Plus inventory tracking program.

Responsibilities

  • Materials Staging, capturing and transferring in required system(s)
  • Identify materials required for staging to production.
  • Stage and transfer materials identified (color, liner, additives, valves) physically and in ERP system on a daily basis.
  • Maintain Excel tracker for staged work orders via production line.
  • Manage returns of materials from production (color, liner, additives, valves) physically and in ERP system on a daily basis.
  • Reconcile issues on a weekly basis for raw materials between JDE, production floor and staging locations, PROD, WIP and P-WIP.
  • Work with QA and Production as needed in relation to HFI items for rework.
  • Retrieves deliveries for materials (color, liner, additives, valves) once released from hold, and put in the proper location, as well as transfer to physical storage location identified in the ERP system.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts for Raw Materials area (valves/color/liner/additive).
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies for raw materials area, production floor and staging locations (PROD, WIP and P-WIP).
  • Perform monthly cycle count of selected MRO items.
  • Participate in all full cycle counts for finish goods inventory.
  • Participate in all full cycle counts for spare parts inventory.
  • Perform bi-weekly Production Floor walk for packet/materials validation.
  • Support the removal and scrapping of Aged Inventory identified by management.
  • Backup to the pickup and distribution of non raw materials.
  • Backup to MRO item putaway into proper location and receive into inventory tracking program, Manager Plus.
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.
  • Ensure works is organized with no clutter in the walkways on a daily basis.
  • Sweeps and mops floors.
  • Ensures all pathways are kept clear.
  • Empties garbage containers when full.
  • Perform daily safety checklist when driving forklift.
  • Report any unsafe condition or near misses.
  • Reporting loss, damage and any such discrepancies to the supervising authorities.
  • Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
