About The Position

Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service, Inc. is a family-owned beverage distributor in Saratoga Springs, NY, serving 21 counties in New York State. With over 250 employees, our mission is to sell beverages, deliver fun, and quench thirst for every occasion, while supporting our families, making friends, and serving our community. We are currently seeking Warehouse Selectors to join our team at our Saratoga Springs location. This role operates Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, with no weekend work required.

Requirements

High School Diploma recommended.
One to two years of related warehousing and forklift experience and/or training recommended.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge of Internet software and ability to learn and use assigned company equipment.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Understanding of product code dating system.
Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear for 10+ hours.
Steady lifting and motion required for 10+ hours.
Ability to lift up to 165 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision.

Responsibilities

Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks after proper training.
Accurately and efficiently select orders for delivery using a scanning pick system.
Construct pallets of various products, with individual items potentially weighing between 30-50 lbs.
Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate conduct that reflects the Company's high value for employees, customers, and business partners.
Participate and cooperate fully in assigned training, development, and group activities.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
