About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Selector to join their team. This role is physically demanding, often referred to as a "get paid to work out" program, where selectors pick products, some weighing up to 100 pounds per case, and prepare them for customer delivery. The position is located at their Distribution Center at 1500 N. River Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully passing a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana).
• Successfully passing a background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Picking products throughout the shift, with cases weighing up to 100 pounds.
