About The Position

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is hiring a Warehouse Selector to support distribution operations for Dunkin’ restaurants. The role involves accurately selecting, labeling, and palletizing custom orders and staging them for outbound delivery using material-handling equipment and warehouse technology. Work takes place in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments.

NDCP is a supply chain management company serving more than 10,000 Dunkin’ locations across the United States. The position is based in Lockport, Illinois, and the listed schedule is Sunday through Thursday, either 9 a.m. to completion or 5 p.m. to completion. The hourly pay is $25.82.

Requirements

• Ability to work in dry ambient-temperature, cooler (34°F), and freezer (-10°F) environments.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to operate a shrink-wrap machine and manually shrink-wrap products.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and high lifts.
• Ability to work flexible days and hours; schedules may include weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Sufficient English comprehension and communication skills to safely perform essential duties, use voice-directed warehouse technology, understand work and safety instructions, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers about operational and safety matters.
• Desire and ability to work collaboratively.

• Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to accurately and safely select orders in different warehouse temperature environments.
• Stack products on pallets according to operating procedures.
• Stage pallets at assigned outbound dock locations for loading.
• Maintain established selection rates for each temperature zone.
• Secure products for transit by shrink-wrapping them manually or with a shrink-wrap machine.
• Perform daily safety inspections of material-handling equipment.
• Safely operate equipment used to perform the role’s tasks.
• Use proper and safe lifting techniques.
• Meet company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct.
• Immediately notify a supervisor of unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Follow NDCP’s Good Distribution Practices.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance and general housekeeping.
• Cross-train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
