Night Warehouse Selector
About The Position
US Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and a history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and continuous improvement focus. This role focuses on safely and accurately selecting customer orders, building and wrapping pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy, performing pre-shift equipment checks, and safely operating an electric pallet jack. The position involves carefully moving products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment, validating that correct product has been selected and is damage-free, and efficiently delivering products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrapping palletized orders. Teamwork is essential for clearing aisles of debris, stacking empty pallets, and returning pallet jacks to their charging areas.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
- Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will be required.
Nice To Haves
- Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
- Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders.

- Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area.
