About The Position

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Selector to join their team. This role involves safely and accurately selecting customer orders, building and wrapping pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards, and performing pre-shift equipment checks. The selector will operate electric pallet jacks, move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software, validate selections, and deliver products to the correct dock area. Teamwork is essential for clearing aisles, stacking pallets, and returning equipment. The company emphasizes a culture of promoting from within, excellent training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will be required.

Nice To Haves

Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely and accurately select customer orders.
Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders.
Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area.
