About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Selector to work in their freezer environment. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless order processing and delivery to customers. While the work is physically demanding, including being on your feet for over 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in extremely cold conditions, no prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The position offers a competitive starting wage that increases with production and efficiency, with the potential to earn significantly more than the base salary.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in extremely cold conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs comfortably and unassisted.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
