About The Position

The Warehouse Security Officer works at a warehouse and guard house to help maintain a safe and secure environment for client property and personnel. The role includes monitoring the premises, conducting foot patrols, observing and reporting activities and incidents, controlling site access, and processing trucks entering and leaving. Officers may provide customer service and information to client employees and customers, and record refrigerator temperatures. The position requires walking approximately one mile and wearing composite boots.

The schedule is full-time, Friday through Tuesday, from 0600 to 1400. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to walk approximately one mile.
• Composite boots are required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• May frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
