Warehouse Security & Facilities Manager
About The Position
We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Security & Facilities Manager to join our Ryder Opa Locka, FL team. The Warehouse Security & Facilities Manager is a multi-functional role responsible for ensuring site security and maintaining facility operations. This position will manage third-party service providers, and support continuous improvement in workplace security, and maintenance programs. Requirements
- Knowledge and an understanding of OSHA and warehouse safety practices
- An understanding of compliance with regulatory agencies, as well as with internal safety and health requirements
- H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
- Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in experience in security operations (distribution or manufacturing environment preferred), Required
- Microsoft Office and PowerBI Intermediate, Required
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Assumes personal responsibility for actions
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Preferred
- Security software (Lenel/Milestone) Intermediate, Preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage contracted 3PL security providers and ensure effective access control, surveillance, and alarm monitoring
- Oversee incident response, investigations, and timely reporting to appropriate business units.
- Coordinate with leadership on security upgrades, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
- Provide supervision and guidance to on-site security personnel as needed.
- Update SOP’s as required and review weekly cost.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all security-related matters.
- Perform other duties as required.
