Warehouse Route Driver
About The Position
Rexel USA is seeking a Warehouse Route Driver to join their team in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for delivering products to and from customers, company branches/warehouses, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck (no CDL required). The driver will ensure deliveries are prepared efficiently, materials are correct, and free of damage. The position operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM and includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus with weekends off. The level of the position (I, II, or Senior) and corresponding pay will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and capabilities.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
- Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
- Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
- Ability to handle basic issues and problems.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic and driver laws.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
Nice To Haves
- Senior Truck Driver will participate in the training of entry level Truck Drivers; and provides mentorship and coaching.
- May be required to support other Warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material.
Responsibilities
- Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects and complete a daily inspection report.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, service, and report any repair or service needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT), local, and state driving laws and regulations.
- Load or unload the vehicle, ensuring all materials for each order are correct (quantity and type) and undamaged before departure.
- Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
- Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately, including customer signature on delivery receipt, packing list, and branch/warehouse manifest.
- Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting condition, verifying quantities, and catalog numbers.
- Pick up materials from company suppliers.
- Senior Truck Drivers will train, mentor, and coach entry-level Truck Drivers.
- May support other warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
