About The Position

We're seeking a Returns Associate to join our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center. The Returns Associate is responsible for processing returned product, reconciling delivery routes, performing inventory transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records within our warehouse management system. The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution or warehouse environment, experience utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS), and the ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as cherry pickers and forklifts. Successful candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position works a four-day schedule, Tuesday through Friday, generally from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours may vary based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, inventory control, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience operating a cherry picker is required.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including cherry pickers and forklifts.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Check in delivery drivers returning from daily routes and reconcile route inventory.
  • Accurately scan and process returned product using RF scanning equipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Sort, inspect, and stage returned product for restocking, disposition, or further processing.
  • Manage dated, damaged, and unsaleable product according to company procedures.
  • Restock returned product into designated warehouse rack and pick locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies when necessary.
  • Manage empty keg storage and organization.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments of empty pallets and other recyclable materials.
  • Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
