About The Position

Varel Energy Solutions (VES), an independent manufacturer and supplier of downhole drilling and completions products to the energy sector, is seeking a Warehouse Representative for its Brownsville location. The role performs a variety of receiving, shipping, and warehousing functions in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of a warehouse environment.
Typically, at least three years of related experience.
Experience safely driving a narrow-aisle forklift.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift certification and safety training preferred.
Experience in a similar environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Pull and assemble orders, move items to the packing station or shipping area, and verify products against shipping documents.
Prepare parcels for shipping and mailing, ensuring the shipment method and freight transportation follow shipping instructions.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents.
Receive and unload incoming deliveries, including pallets, skids, and boxes, using material-handling equipment and safety standards; promptly note and report damage.
Open bales, crates, and other containers; weigh or count and record received materials; compare items with receiving documents and document overages, shortages, and damaged items (OS&Ds).
Mark materials or items with identifying information as required.
Enter receipts into the SAP ERP system.
Sort, move, and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to written or verbal instructions; organize and store items accessibly, keeping product identification and markings legible.
Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
Lubricate forklifts, recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace liquefied gas tanks.
Ensure tools are properly stored, available, and in good working order.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory counts.
Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
