About The Position

Join Staples’ World Class Supply Chain Team to help deliver essential products to customers. As a warehouse associate, you may be moved into Warehouse Replenishment or other listed warehouse and SC1 roles as needed. In Warehouse Replenishment, you operate material handling equipment—including forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks—to pick products weighing up to 100 pounds and move them within the warehouse. Not all work is completed using material handling equipment.

You are expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support Staples Supply Chain’s delivery operations. The position is in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations. The listed schedule is 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least three months of related warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• For full-time associates, ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes or merchandise weighing 70 to 100 pounds by hand.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Ability to become certified as a material handling equipment operator and safely operate necessary equipment.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean, work collaboratively, adopt safety procedures, and work in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.
