Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior warehouse experience – you know the fundamentals.
  • forklift operation experience is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine focus on providing outstanding internal and external customer service.
  • Rock-solid dependability and attendance, with the proven ability to multi-task and maintain unwavering attention to detail in a bustling environment.
  • A strong motivation to train, learn new skills, and grow with Plumbers Supply Co
  • The physical stamina to stand and walk for your entire shift, routinely lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift more with assistance.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations.
  • Comfortable and productive working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RF scanners is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diligently review shipping manifests, meticulously cross-checking all received inventory to guarantee absolute accuracy.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies, maintaining thorough documentation according to our established best practices.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter all receipt information into our ERP system, keeping our data pristine.
  • Expertly sort and stock inventory, following precise directions from our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Consistently maintain the integrity and accuracy of the entire warehouse inventory system.
  • Safely load and unload trucks, move materials within the warehouse, and stage products efficiently as needed.
  • Skillfully operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Actively assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse space, ensuring it's accessible and welcoming for all team members and customers.
