About The Position
Missouri Furniture Inc is looking for Warehouse Receiving Personnel to join their team. This role involves performing duties such as unloading freight, inspecting and processing incoming stock, organizing product on shelves, and safely operating manual equipment. The company, founded in 1977, is family-owned and offers a large selection of furniture, appliances, mattresses, and spas, priding itself on exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Available Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week
- High energy and passion to succeed
Responsibilities
- Safely unload freight, delivery trucks, and containers using manual labor or by safely operating a manual equipment
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Match BOL to company purchase orders
- Inspect delivered products for shortages, damages, and/or overages
- Placing delivered products in designated warehouse racks & zones
- Ensure receiving dock is clean and hazard free
- Support and assist the warehouse manager with additional tasks
