About The Position

As a Warehouse Receiving Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse. This role involves unloading trucks, inspecting merchandise, stocking items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also assist with inventory management and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
• Warehouse and/or receiving experience
• Must be able to obtain a food handlers card

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack
• Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity
• Report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor
• Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department
• Check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items
• Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
• Assemble and deliver warehouse orders
• Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren)
• Assist in all physical inventories
• Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor
