About The Position

Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving trucks, creating and sending paperwork, managing inventory, and assisting with other warehouse receiving duties. If you are looking for a full time, direct-hire position to get your foot in the door and gain hands on experience with an industry leader in wire, cable, and industrial automation, then we may be the right fit for you!

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2+ years in a warehouse receiving department required
• Forklift experience required (sit down, stand up, or order picker)
• Computer literacy required
• Basic math and reading skills
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs

Nice To Haves

• Oracle experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive in trucks and transfer material to specific locations
• Inspect and verify package contents, including quantity, part numbers, and any required certifications
• Utilize ERP system (Oracle) to enter receiving data and handle documentation including BOLs, packing slips, invoices, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Schedule and coordinate incoming deliveries
• Conduct cycle counts and update inventory reports
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with housekeeping duties
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed
