About The Position
Imperial Dade is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join their team in Jersey City, NJ. This role is crucial for inspecting incoming products, ensuring accuracy in counts and product placement, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of working effectively within a team environment to support the company's growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- 1 year of receiving experience
- Great communication skills
- Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Cherry Picker experience preferred
- Stand-Up/Sit-Down Forklift experience preferred
- Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Receive shipments, unload trucks, and scan products into our system
- Handle all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt
- Inspect all the contents for damage and volume
- Put away the product
- Assist with pulling orders
- Help with some inventory
- Work with the receiving team and collaborate, and communicate with related departments
