Warehouse Receiving Associate (Warehouse Day)
About The Position
Imperial Dade is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join their team in City of Industry. This role is crucial for inspecting incoming products, ensuring accuracy in counts and placement, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. The Warehouse Receiver will be responsible for managing shipments from arrival to put-away, collaborating with the receiving team and other departments, and assisting with inventory and order pulling as needed. This is an opportunity to grow with a leading distributor in the foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- 1 year of receiving experience
- Great communication skills
- Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Cherry Picker experience preferred
- Stand-Up/Sit-Down Forklift experience preferred
- Bendi/Turret experience preferred
- Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Receive shipments, unload trucks, and scan products into our system
- Handle all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt
- Inspect all the contents for damage and volume
- Put away the product
- Assist with pulling orders
- Help with some inventory
- Work with the receiving team and collaborate, and communicate with related departments
