About The Position

Intercity Packers Ltd. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Receiver for its Richmond location. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring accuracy when receiving and recording all movements of inventory and materials to and from the Intercity Packers Richmond facilities. Intercity Packers is the largest meat/seafood distribution company in Western Canada and part of the Gordon Food Service (GFS) Canada group of companies.

Requirements

Frequently operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand jack, and other equipment to load, unload transport, and store goods
Strong Attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Accountable and Dependable
Self motivated and have the desire to improve continuously
Frequent lifting, pushing & pulling up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending/stooping
Must be able to work Holidays as required
Able to work Overtime as required

Nice To Haves

Forklift Certification is an asset
Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor
Achieving productivity targets
Working together with team members to ensure an efficient production flow
Ensuring products are shipped and received to specifications
