Warehouse Receiver
About The Position
We are looking for an organized Warehouse Receiver to handle the daily inbound products to the Airgas Specialty Gas Equipment Group located in Piscataway, NJ. The Warehouse Receiver's main responsibilities will be to receive and inspect all incoming product. Once material is inspected, you will collaborate with the team to stock material in designated bin locations. In addition, this position will enter receiving information in our SAP system, assist with shipping documentation, restock shelves from overflow locations, and maintain the overall upkeep of warehouse aisles and the shipping and receiving area. To thrive in this role, ideally you bring the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, performing your duties safely in a manner that contributes to our shared operational success.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping & receiving experience in a warehouse environment is a plus
- Must be able to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Ability to operate forklift effectively after training
- Proficient computer skills.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Receiving all inbound material.
- Stocking & restocking of shelves/bin locations.
- Entering information into SAP.
- Learn & use the UPS shipping system.
- Assist with completing shipping documentation.
- Maintain a clean & organized work area.
- Assist warehouse staff with packaging.
- Operate a forklift.
- Create international documents as needed.
- Participate in inventory process.
- Other warehouse operations duties as requested.
