About The Position

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Warehouse Receiver for their night shift operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the establishment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 2:00 AM until completion. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One to three months related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at both close and far distances

Responsibilities

Reads receiving schedule
Sorts and places materials on docks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Sorts goods according to temperature zones
Marks materials with identifying information
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Communicates with purchasing department
Operates forklift and pallet jack
Communicates with lumper, driver on unloading procedures
Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
Uses computer to enter records
Other duties as assigned
