About The Position

Works with a team to receive, manage, deliver, and store merchandise arriving at warehouse. Promotes superior guest service. Located on the Cowlitz Reservation in Ridgefield, Washington, ilani, is the Pacific Northwest’s premier gaming, dining, entertainment and meeting destination. With nearly 400,000 total square feet, ilani includes more than 100,000 square feet of gaming space with nearly 3,000 slots and 75 gaming tables; 22 different restaurants, bars and retail outlets; and a 2,500-seat meeting and entertainment venue hosting nationally recognized performances.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • One (1) year of warehouse/receiving experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • The ability to interpret and complete requisitions and receiving documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and automated inventory/purchasing system.
  • Able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
  • Able to lift forty to 50 pounds.
  • Able to walk, stand, and lift for 8 hours.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming deliveries, verify quantities vs packing slip or invoice.
  • Receives, stores and issues merchandise per the inventory stock requisition.
  • Verify quantities, record amount of product or items received or distributed and shortages and damages.
  • Notify buyers of any shorts, overages, or damage product.
  • Verify quality and freshness of incoming seafood and produce.
  • Opens boxes, and other containers, using company approved hand tools, i.e., company issued box cutters to verify counts and quality of product.
  • Familiarity of safe food handling practices, including storage temperatures, storage hierarchy, and rotation by using the FIFO (First in First Out) process in the main warehouse walk in coolers and walk in freezers.
  • Rotates stock as specified by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Fill requisitions and inventory requisitions, requests for products or other stocked items and distribute in a timely manner.
  • Deliver requisitions and inventory requisitions orders to the originating outlet.
  • Maintains overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Uses proper and safe methods when operating all warehouse equipment, i.e., pallet jacks.
  • Keep warehouse/product storage areas in order.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
