About The Position

The Quality Representative contributes to meeting Langham Logistics goals of exceptional Client service, quality, process improvement, and profitability. This role involves ensuring accurate shipping and receiving through QC checks, gathering information to identify discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory management. The representative will collaborate with other departments on discrepancies, assist the Quality Manager with projects, and ensure proper client communication regarding quality issues according to SOPs and Client Quality Agreements. Additionally, they will perform accurate inventory counts, track errors, and support case management through communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Quality Control or related field within a GMP facility.

Responsibilities

  • Performing QC checks on all incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.
  • Gathering all applicable information to determine if a shipment has a discrepancy.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory management by ensuring materials are dropped into deviation accurately.
  • Collaborating among departments on discrepancies or questions for deviating material.
  • Assisting the Quality Manager with projects.
  • Ensuring proper Client communication as it relates to Quality issues according to the SOPs and/or the Client Quality Agreement.
  • Performing accurate inventory counts, identifying and tracking errors, and communicating with external and internal stakeholders to support case management.
  • Working according to Langham Logistics company values, policies and procedures.
  • Meeting established quality and productivity metrics.
  • Keeping work areas neat and clean.
  • Accepting or rejecting material based on quality/regulatory standards and Client requirements.
  • Physically checking all incoming and outgoing materials for damage and other discrepancies.
  • Identifying and reporting discrepancies between paperwork/orders and physical product delivered.
  • Initiating and overseeing quality records in QT9.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product accurately segregated and marked in deviation area.
  • Ensuring proper documentation for client communication as it relates to discrepancies and damages.
  • Providing courteous, professional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Presenting a positive image of Langham Logistics.
