About The Position

Processes outgoing gasket and bolt shipments, including pulling and packing orders. Operates forklift, saw, and gasket-making equipment. Processes incoming stock and puts it away in designated locations. Maintains a clean shop environment. May perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Requirements

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions/documents.
Basic computer capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push/pull.
Continuous standing and/or walking.
Works frequently with weight of 10 – 50 lbs. and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment including but not limited to cold, hot, and/or dusty environment, as well as noisy conditions.

1-3 years warehouse and shipping experience preferred

Responsibilities

Packs and ships gaskets as requested by customers.
Pulls and packs orders for outgoing shipments.
Processes inbound transfers, UPS, FedEx, or any incoming freight to be received.
Puts stock away in designated locations/shelving and maintains daily inventory.
Performs daily jobs for Gaskets and Stud Bolts required by clients.
Assembles boxes for shipments and monitors daily any boxes staged and due but not shipped.
Loads all trucks with outgoing freight.
Keeps Will Call area organized and current.
Cross-training required on all warehouse operations.
Monitors propane tanks ensuring capacity is maintained and coordinates with supervisor to get tanks filled when necessary.
Picks from location listed on pick ticket, verifying length, diameter, and material before packaging.
Palletizes orders with more than five (5) boxes.
Advises sales of any shortages on online items.
Marks each line item with box # and ensures line item corresponds to marking on the box or boxes.
Maintains a neat, clean work environment; picks up any box packing and tears off box flaps as you go.
Performs other tasks as required to meet on-time delivery of customer orders, which may include any other warehouse function not listed above.
