Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4 years in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Intermediate computer knowledge including MS Office
  • Organization and administrative knowledge required
  • Communication skills are a must
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Self-Motivated

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education preferred
  • AS400 and TMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan the daily orders in AS400/LogPro System
  • Schedule all CPU loads, drop and live in TMS (E2 Open)
  • Upload BOLs for CPU and Walmart loads into the TMS
  • Clean up the daily "Not Departed" list by keying missed departures into the TMS
  • Communicate missed drop and live loads to CPU carriers
  • Communicate delays in loading to CPU drop and live apts. during the off-shift hours
  • Communicate drop equipment issues for all drop carriers
  • Communicate daily workload to each shift lead for tailgate meetings
  • Direct and prioritize all work to the Warehouse workers and ASRS
  • Communicate arrival and departure of carriers to the warehouse workers
  • Monitor the operation of the ASRS and communicate faults with the warehouse workers
  • Adjust inventory for leaking and damaged products
  • Research and clear errors in the LogPro work queue
  • Update TMS with arrival and departure times
  • Print, distribute, and file all daily shipping documents
  • Monitor and address issues with the aging report
  • Communicate with and direct all incoming and outgoing drivers
  • Take and address all incoming departmental phone calls
  • Personally apply a seal to all outbound trailers
  • Personally inspect and verify seal number on all incoming loads
  • Communicate inventory/release needs to the lab and manage back orders and rolling releases
  • Create license plates for incoming repack and FV orders
  • Manage, document and issue temperature recorders to appropriate customers
  • Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job task and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Monitor incoming services
