About The Position

Whirlwind Steel is a metal building manufacturer that designs, fabricates, and delivers metal structures. The Warehouse Picker selects and prepares products for shipment, ensuring orders are accurate and items meet quality expectations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a benefits package.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Accuracy in picking and packing.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse or order-picking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
• Inspect items for quality and correctness before packing.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Keep workstations clean and organized to uphold safety standards.
• Communicate with supervisors about stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or order issues.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.
