About The Position

The Warehouse picker/puller is responsible for accurately loading and unloading orders for shipment to customers. This role involves building shippable pallets, using scanners to pull orders, and ensuring accurate order completion. The position also requires maintaining a clean warehouse, assisting in other departments through cross-training, and adhering to attendance policies. The role may involve working in various weather conditions and potentially working evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
Must have basic computer literacy.
Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Must be able to understand, speak, write and read English.
Must be able to pass a math test.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an order puller preferred.
Experience with a hand scanner strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately load and unload orders for shipment to customers.
Build good, shippable pallets keeping all items inside the pallet with no overhang.
Use scanners to pull orders in the system to assure accurate order completion.
Drop completed pallets in the order staging area.
Wrap and label completed pallets.
Move completed pallets to the outbound shipping dock.
Exercise proper pallet usage by trying to limit the number of pallets for each order.
Assist in maintaining a clean warehouse.
Cross-train in other departments.
Attend work consistently and punctually.
Work in the elements during the entire shift.
