About The Position

American Van Equipment, a Safe Fleet and Clarience Technologies company, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in Lakewood, NJ. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are properly and securely packed for shipment. In addition, you will be responsible for properly labeling and shipping product. Our attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will help maintain our high standards of quality and service.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a packing warehouse role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and independently lift heavy items up to 50 pounds.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with packaging equipment and materials is a must.
Must have pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Pack heavy items, box, wrap, seal, and label products according to company standards and specifications.
Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
Ensure all packed products are stored in the correct locations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly packing targets.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
