About The Position

The warehouse pick-pack-ship worker is responsible for accurately, neatly and efficiently filling orders. The PPS worker also assists in reporting any inventory or stocking mistakes discovered, assists in the general housekeeping of the shipping area and assists in other duties as needed to effectively and efficiently serve the customers of the E-Commerce Dept.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to function in a fast paced environment and meet time deadlines.
• Must have strong computer and software operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately, neatly and efficiently fill orders.
• Report any inventory or stocking mistakes discovered.
• Assist in the general housekeeping of the shipping area.
• Assist in other duties as needed to effectively and efficiently serve the customers of the E-Commerce Dept.
• Pick, pack, and ship E-Commerce Orders with a focus on high quality product selection and packing.
• Pack orders in the best way possible, protecting items from damage during shipping and handling.
• Choose the best box or padded envelope for each item to ensure product protection and lowest possible shipping cost.
• Find a better condition part if a picked product is not in new condition.
• Become proficient in using the company’s various computer software programs to print packing lists and shipping labels and fixing bad addresses.
• Drive the company’s vehicle to local UPS, FedEx or USPS warehouses to drop off packages.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Assist in other ways as requested by the PPS supervisor.
• Act in a professional and positive manner.
• Maintain professional appearance that meets customer expectations and the APH employee handbook.
• Participate in internal and external training programs.
• Maintain a calm, positive demeanor and positive attitude when working or communicating with employees and customers.
• Meet standards for interaction with customers and co-workers.
• Follow company procedures.
• Accurately, neatly and efficiently pick, pack and ship orders.
