About The Position

The Warehouse Pick and Pack Associate is a role that operates within the GOVX Fulfillment Center (GXFC) located in La Vergne, TN. This position is responsible for preparing and shipping orders to customers in a timely and accurate manner. The associate will use a handheld scanner to locate, pick and pack the items from the warehouse shelves, and then label and load them for delivery. The associate will also perform inventory checks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and report any issues to the supervisor. This position’s work assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of GXFC.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders according to GXFC specifications and quality standards.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of each order before shipping.
• Use a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and track inventory.
• Label and load packages in preparation for carrier pickup.
• Follow safety rules and procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean; report any damage or hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
